Drake, the Canadian recording artist released his second studio album Take Care in 2011. The album was released by Young Money Entertainment, Aspire Music Group, Republic Records and Cash Money Records. Take Care is Drake’s follow-up album Thank Me Later.
An atmospheric sound which is characterized by low-key musical elements and includes R&B, electronic, pop and post-dubstep styles is featured in Take Care. Lyrics of the songs in this album ar related to topics like increasing wealth and fame, failed romances, relationships with family and friends, despondency and concerns about leading an empty life.
Another 2011 release, this mixtape is the labor child of Meek Mill, the American rapper. This was the first since signing his record deal with Maybach Music Group which was hosted by DJ Drama. It was the first installment in the Dreamchasers series and was released on Datpiff, the professional mixtape website. The album featured guest appearances by American rappers like Rick Ross, Mel Love, Young Chris, Beanie Sigel, Young Pooh, NH and Yo Gotti. The production of the album includes The Beat Bully, A One, Jahlil Beats, All Star and Lex Luger.
